If you live in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) or if you work permanently in the Borough you may be able to join the Common Housing Register.
The Common Housing Register (CHR) is a single access point for affordable accommodation within the district. It is maintained and operated by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and provides the benefit to those seeking accommodation of only having to complete one form to be considered by all housing associations who are part of the scheme.
The Register works on a points system, which takes into consideration the applicants' current housing circumstances. When we have an empty property we notify the RBWM Housing Team and they nominate a person from the CHR.
The Register is open to anyone over the age of 16, although applicants under the age of 18 may need to meet additional criteria. Unless you are over the age of 55 you must not own property or be a tenant of a social landlord.

If you do not have a connection with RBWM you may still apply directly to Windsor Housing by completing and returning the same form. Again your current housing circumstances will be assessed and applications put on in date order. Should we get a vacancy that we can allocate through our own list then we will contact you directly. Please note because of our nomination agreement with RBWM and because of the demand for accommodation, very few properties are allocated to those on the Windsor Housing List.
Should you live in one of the other Boroughs or Districts where we have properties you may also wish to directly approach your local Housing Team to see if you meet the criteria for their Housing List. When we have a vacancy in these districts we generally request a nomination from the local Housing Team.
