We have a number of flats available in our sheltered housing schemes. If you are interested please contact Lee Campbell on 01753 777482, Lynne Huggins on 01753 777401 or Karen Routledge on 01753 777490.
Sheltered housing is purpose built or specially adapted accommodation for people aged 55 years or over, mainly grouped in developments of one bedroom flats and self contained studio flats; however some of the accommodation consists of bungalows and houses, some of which are designated for those with disabilities. All properties come with an emergency alarm system and Scheme Manager's support. Most Sheltered Housing Schemes have communal facilities for the tenants to use, which normally include a communal lounge, guest room, kitchen and laundry. Some of the schemes also have a hairdressing/medical room and a specially adapted bathroom for use by people with disabilities.
Sheltered Managers are responsible for two schemes and work Monday - Friday. Each sheltered scheme receives a daily visit from the Manager.
When the Sheltered Manager is off duty the emergency alarm system which is installed in each flat is switched through to the 24 hour Careline Service.
